The Seattle Dyke March rebranded to the Seattle Dyke Alliance in 2024. The organization needed a new logo for their new name, but they also wanted the new logo to highlight their values of inclusion, connection, and activism for queer women and dyke-aligned members of their community. This design incorporates many elements of queer history, including the color lavender which is a nod to the 1970s lesbian activism group, Lavender Menace. The new logo incorporates two interlocking carabiners, another symbol used for flagging in the queer community, that create the shape of a heart. For the organization, these symbols emphasize the importance of connection and love in their community.
